Tips Before You Start

2. Please note that most of the organization in #1 have Internet links that you can click on to access the organization.

3. Find out when the next meeting is scheduled.

4. Read the Frequently Asked Questions and Press Release.

5. Have your Passports, Week of Peace Flyer (and optional announcement cards), September Newsletter and Teach Peace Brochures to help you explain both the Week of Peace and the Teach Peace organization.

Now That You Are Ready - This Is What You Do

1. Calling is better than sending an e-mail. So please call and ask if you can get a few minutes on the agenda to introduce how the Week of Peace can help their organization.

2. Refer to the Passport and mentioning the dinner, movie and music mixer is recommended.

3. Inform the representative of the organization that we are seeking to bring peace organizations together and also raise money for peace organizations. The Passports are $50 each and their is space on the back where they can indicate their organization to receive the $50 donation. To do this, they simply send the Passport after the event to Teach Peace with a completed Donation Instruction Form. We are following the standard "manufacturer rebate" process. Specifically the original bar code (in our situation the Passport) is returned to a centralized processing address with a rebate form (in our situation the Donation Instruction Form) in a specific period of time (again in our situation this is by November 7, 2006) and the rebate is mailed to the organization within 60 days from the postmarked date of the received activated Passport.

4. If you are asked to make a presentation and want help, contact us at contact@teachpeace.com.

Good luck and thank you for helping us make the Week of Peace a huge success.
