Beginning on October 1, 2006, celebrate a Week of Peace with teach peace and 1320 AM (Sacramento's Left Channel).

The Week of Peace is an educational and entertaining series of events to promote peace.

 

Summary of events:

Sunday, October 1, 5 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (dinner starts at 6:30 p.m.), $25 and $15 for students. Evening of Peace dinner at 139 G Street in Davis.

 

Monday, October 2, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. ($10). Beyond Treason Movie, Varsity Theater at 616 2nd Street in Davis.

 

Tuesday, October 3, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. (Free and Passport holders receive $20 Teach Peace lapel pin). Annual Teach Peace Board of Directors Meeting, Meeting House at 345 L Street in Davis.

 

Wednesday, October 4, , 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. ($10 and free for students). Candidates For Congress Discussion at 2749 Sunrise Blvd. in Rancho Cordova. 

 

Thursday, October 5, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. ($10 and free for students). Presentation: The first casualty of war is the truth in 194 Chem at UC Davis.

 

Friday, October 6, 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. ($10). Music Mixer at 2427 Marconi Ave. in Sacramento

 

Saturday, October 7, Open and free. Direct Action opportunities to participate in peace initiatives.
