Peace Leadership Nomination Process
You may nominate a person for a 2013 award between now and July 1, 2013.
The nomination process has 3 steps.
Everything we do at Teach Peace is only possible when it is funded. Therefore, Teach Peace Foundation members who have supported the organization in the last 12 months can nominate one person for a peace award. Individuals who are not Teach Peace Foundation contributing members are required to send in $200 with their nomination application to:
Teach Peace Foundation
539 J Street
Davis, CA 95616
Our team will invest time to evaluate all nominations. The $200 nomination application fee helps pay for the nomination evaluation. Funds from the nomination process also help the Teach Peace Foundation create and deliver awards.
Send your name, phone number, the nominee's full contact information (e.g., phone number, e-mail address, and mailing address), and if the nominee is attending the event at their expense or requiring the Teach Peace Foundation to pay for the travel expenses. Be sure to let us know of the event your organization offers for when the award can be presented. When the logistics work out, we can deliver an award at the event of the organization the recipient works with. Include a compelling 1-2 page explanation on why the nominee should be recognized with an award.
Nominations that result in an award offer are communicated to the person making the nomination by August 15th.
If the person you nominated wins, we may ask your help in making sure the award language is constructed properly.
You can send this information to firstname.lastname@example.org or 539 J Street, Davis, CA 95616.
Incomplete nomination requests decrease the likelihood of the nominee's selection.
If you have questions, please call 530-554-7061.
Peace be with you
