House Party Tips - 7 Easy Steps

Step 1 - Give us a call at 530-554-7061 and we will help you with any questions that you have.

 

Step 2 - Show the movie (popcorn, water and other snacks are nice but don't feel you need to do anything other than show the movie).

 

Step 3 - After the movie, ask people to be prepared to answer in a few sentences "what part of the movie impacted them the most or was surprising new information." Before they answer, announce a short break.

 

Step 4 - Restart the discussion and ask people to comment on the question: "What part of the movie impacted you the most or was surprising new information?

 

Step 5 - After each person answers, continue with an open format discussion for 15 minutes (feel free to go longer if your guests would like to continue the discussion).

 

Step 6 - Ask attendees to Take Action. A great first step is to join Teach Peace and call us at 530-554-7061 to get involved in a way that brings joy and is guaranteed to make a difference.

 

Step 7 - Please send an e-mail or call us to let us know how your house party went. We keep track of Teach Peace activities as part of our annual scorecard.
