Gift of Hope Toolkit

What You Need To Get Started 

1. A supply of Gift of Hope Catalogues, click here to see and then print or request a supply from contact@teachpeace.com.

Optional Items

1. Wear the Teach Peace Polo or T-Shirt.

3. Name tags stickers (available for a few dollars at most office supply stores).

4. For a major event, Teach Peace has a professional canopy. This is large enough to comfortably fit an eight foot table underneath. To use the canopy, contact us at contact@teachpeace.com.

5. Teach Peace has a sign that is eight feet long and about 2.5 feet high.

6. Teach Peace products (e.g., T-shirts, lapel pins, American Hiroshima books, etc.)

7. NOTE - If you have a computer with wireless Internet access, this is the best. When you input orders directly to our safe and secure site, all of the back end processing is automatic (e.g., credit card billing, confirmation of order, thank you letter for the order, etc.).

Tips Before You Start

1. If attending a group meeting, request permission in advance to talk about Teach Peace and distribute materials.

2. Envelopes with the Teach Peace Gift of Hope address (3409 Tanager Avenue, Davis, CA 95616) and with stamps are helpful.

Now That You Are Ready - This Is What You Do

1. Greet people with a smile.

2. Say hello, my name is __________________.

3. Inform by giving the brochure and telling them about Teach Peace.

4. Show the person the Gift of Hope Catalogue and encourage them to break away from reinforcing materialism by giving the gift of hope.

5. If you brought self addressed and stamped envelopes, give one to the person.

6. Let the person know they can make a Gift of Peace now if they wish.

7. Checks should be made payable to teach peace.

8. American Express, Mastercard and Visa can be accepted if they complete the Gift of Hope Catalogue order form.

9. Thank them for their gift and invite the person to a Teach Peace meeting.

10. Mention our Week of Peace and invite the person to join us.

11. Send in collected gift orders and funds to teach peace (3409 Tanager Avenue, Davis, CA 95616). Please send an e-mail to contact@teachpeace.com to let us know to expect to receive a letter and be sure to note the total amount of funds collect.
